Billing & Payment Policies

Our goal is to provide clear, fair, and consistent billing procedures for all members. Below you’ll find important information about billing schedules, payment deadlines, late fees, disconnection processes, and service-related charges.

Monthly Billing Schedule

  • Meters are read between the middle and end of each month.
  • Bills are mailed by the last business day of the month.
  • If you have not received your bill by the 5th of the month, please get in touch with our office to check your balance.

Payment Deadline – “Monthly Due Date”

  • Payment must be received in our office no later than 7:00 AM on the 16th of each month.
  • This is your Monthly Due Date.
  • If the 16th falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day.

IMPORTANT: If you pay by mail, be aware that delivery delays may cause your payment to arrive late. If it is not physically in our office by the deadline, we cannot credit your account, even if it was mailed on time. If in doubt, call us before the due date to confirm receipt.

Late Fee: $25.00

Example: If the 15th is on a Sunday, payments received on the following Tuesday will incur the late fee.

Delinquency & Disconnection Process

  • Late notices are sent the next business day after the Monthly Due Date.
  • These notices include your balance and a final payment deadline.
  • Cut-off date is generally the 26th of the month (or next business day if it falls on a weekend or holiday).

Example: If the 26th is a Sunday, your payment must be received before Tuesday morning.

  • On the cut-off day, all unpaid accounts are disconnected.
    • Trip Fee: $50.00
    • If your meter is locked due to non-payment:
      • Reconnect Fee: $50.00

Note: A payment stub is required for all in-office payments, including online bill pay sent directly from your bank.

Additional Reminders

  • No leak adjustments or pool fill-up adjustments will be made.
  • Chronic late payers create additional operational costs. These extra costs are not shared by the general membership but are passed on to the individual account.

Payment Options

Orangefield Water Supply Corporation offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

You may pay your bill in person at our office address during Business hours.

Online Bill Payment

You may pay your bill 24/7, we accept Mastercard and Visa. A 3% convenience fee applies to all Credit/Debit payments. To get started, click on the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button and follow the prompts.  Have your account number handy.  Feel free to call us with any questions.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. 

Payment Drop-off Location

We only accept checks or money orders.  Cash payments are not accepted in the drop-off.  Please use payment envelopes provided.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
